Small Business Majority Amplifying California’s Small Business Voices

SBM has brought together policy experts, local and state officials, and small business owners for a listening tour series in various California cities. Along with SBM CEO John Arensmeyer, panelists answer questions from small business owners and employees about insurance exchanges, high risk pools and tax credits, while gaining more insight into challenges facing California’s vulnerable small businesses. SBM is sharing the feedback with NCHC and other organizations to inform policy development, public education and advocacy efforts in communities of interest throughout California and the nation.

SBM also has testified at and/or participated in numerous post ACA enactment forums across California including: the California Task Force on Affordable Care, the Governor’s Conference on Small Business and Entrepreneurship Joint Legislative Health Committee Hearing, and a Town Hall with Representative John Garamendi.
