National small business advocacy groups Small Business Majority and Main Street Alliance filed a brief opposing the state of Virginia’s legal challenge to reform. The brief emphasized reform’s potentialbenefits for small businesses, including tax credits for small businesses who offer their employees insurance, and allowing small businesses to band together to shop for coverage in state exchanges. Small Business Majority and Main Street Alliance argue that repealing reform would mire small business owners in a system that threatens their competitiveness.
