A new fact-sheet produced by the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research shows that 24.3% of California’s non-elderly residents are uninsured.  The fact-sheet provides a county by county analysis including population numbers and types of insurance coverage. The UCLA Center for Health Policy Research press release states that “the number of Californians without health insurance grew in all counties and that 37 counties … had uninsured rates above the statewide average of 24.3%.”
