Jennifer Cohen

I just completed my second year at the University of Maryland School of Law. There, I am concentrating on health law, specifically resource allocation and access as well as long term care and end of life issues. I came to the National Coalition on Health Care to become involved in the debate surrounding the health care reform and its implementation.

Nicole Vij

My name is Nicole Vij and I am from Fairfax Station, Virginia. I attended The College of William and Mary for undergrad and received a BBA in Marketing and Finance with a minor in Economics in 2008. In Fall 2010 I will be starting at The George Washington University in their MPH in Health Policy program. I am honored to be apart of this prestigious program, as I feel that it will allow me the opportunity to learn a great deal about health policy and experience the current health care reform implementation efforts first hand.

Krista Maier

I just finished my second year at American University Washington College of Law. Before law school, I worked for eight years in the pharmaceutical industry, primarily with Medicaid and Medicare contracts. That experience is where I developed both my desire to attend law school in general, and more particularly to study health law. I am interested in all facets of health law including consumer advocacy, policy, legislation and regulation. An internship with the National Coalition on Health Care is a wonderful opportunity to participate in and learn about the next steps in the health care reform movement.
