Joint letter urging CMS to extend time-limited equitable relief for Marketplace enrollees who missed Medicare enrollment

This letter was originally organized and sent by the Medicare Rights Center to Administrator Seema Verma. In 2016, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced a time-limited equitable relief opportunity for select individuals currently or previously enrolled in Marketplace plans who delayed Medicare enrollment. This important relief is set to expire on September 30, 2017, and this letter urges CMS to issue an extension.
