U.S. PIRG, a consumer advocacy group, is encouraging policy makers to put aside partisan issues to establish state insurance exchanges to control the rising cost of health care. Recommending the health insurance lobby be left out of the decision making process when it comes to state exchanges, which should be “run by and for business and consumers” U.S. PIRG points to progress in cost control made by Utah and Massachusetts.
