Members and Leaders of Faith Community Urge Congress and Administration to Move Reform Forward
February 24, 2010
In advance of Thursday’s Bipartisan Health Summit, members of the faith community have delivered a letter to Members of Congress and the Obama Administration urging them to complete their work on health reform legislation in a timely manner. Among the many reasons cited in the letter against any further delay of action, the authors of the letter highlight that we are closer than ever to achieving health care reform. It goes on to say “Turning back now could mean justice delayed for another generation and an unprecedented opportunity lost.” To read the letter and learn more about the efforts of the faith community regarding health care reform, please click here.
