Consumers Union has released a new guide: “Health Reform: The First Six Months” that links consumers to reliable information about the health reform law and how it effects them and their families. The CU guide also links consumers to web resources for more information about future implementation steps. Consumers Union provides consumers with understandable information on consumer goods and services, including complicated health care information, so that they can make informed decisions. The guide includes information about: grandfathered plans, lifetime and annual benefits limits, denial of coverage for sick children, health coverage for people with pre-existing conditions, coverage for young adults, small business tax credits, preventive care provisions, and Medicare changes.
