“As a Paul G. Rogers Scholar with the National Coalition on Health Care, I developed a strong working knowledge of many different areas of health care policy, from Medicare payment reform to new models of care delivery to children’s health coverage. While contributing to NCHC’s policy priorities, I was also encouraged to pursue projects and attend events and briefings around Washington, DC based on my own interests in the field. Becoming a Rogers Scholar was an excellent opportunity for me to directly engage with the leading issues and developments in health care policy.”

“I was a Rogers Scholar in 2014, during the summer before going into my junior year of college at Harvard. As a Rogers Scholar, I was given the opportunity to learn about health policy in a very hands-on and supportive environment. One of the projects I worked on dealt with Medical Malpractice, an area of health policy in which I had no prior experience. It was exciting to learn about something new and contribute meaningfully to the goals of the Coalition. ”
